I hate when Beauty Bloggers (Guru's) post monthly favorites videos on Youtube and they include products that they were "sent for consideration". I understand you can develop a liking for these products that you are sent but viewers can never 100% believe you're being honest.
So here's an idea or two...
1. Saying you're honest doesn't make me want to believe you more as a viewer. Shouldn't honesty be assumed if you're trying to portray your channel as genuine?
2. Don't put products that were sent to you in "favorites" videos. It's quite annoying and most likely I will point out this in a comment on your video (as will many others). Ultimately, it will push me personally to unsubscribe to your channel.
3. If you're going to review a product that was "sent for consideration", then hell actually review it! May I remind you, reviews include PRO's AND CON's! I know several beauty guru's will "review" those products and won't mention ANYTHING bad about that product. What the hell -.- NOT A REVIEW!
4. If you're sent products...BE GENEROUS. Do more giveaways. You'll get more subscribers!
5. & Finally, be up front with your subscribers. We don't like dishonest guru's. That will just get you more haters... and nobody likes haters!
Stay Fabuloso (AND HONEST!) Darlings<3
